MLM Downline: 7 Steps to Building a Large MLM Downline Steps 1-3
If you are in network marketing or a multi-tiered affiliate commission program then there is no doubt that you realize that building a large downline is the best way to leverage yourself. Leverage is the key to building enormous wealth. In Real Estate and other investment vehicles (forex, futures, etc..) you leverage a little bit of your own money to control an asset that is worth much more and thus the returns that you make compared to the small investment can accelerate the growth of your wealth. In Network marketing however, we leverage time and effort by building an army of people all doing a little bit which produce enormous amount of production, cashflow and wealth for the entire team.
But how do you build a large sustainable and successful MLM downline? The fact is that 97% of people fail at this and the few that find moderate success are often hard pressed to put in enough new people to compensate for the daily attrition rate of old members. Tip 1 Begin with the end in mind
Whether you are just starting out or have been doing this for a while you must always start with the end in mind. Decide how many people you want in your group and Visualization leading them to success. This is key… You must become that which you want to be and act it out. So even if you only have 1 member start hosting your own webinars or conference calls and speak with the enthusiasm as if there were 10’s of thousands of people on the line…
Tip 2 Lead by example
Be Your own Best Example. Nobody wants to follow a has been… Someone who sponsored 10,000 people 2 years ago and hasn’t done anything since. Don’t go into management mode. You should dominate the leader board for your company. This eliminates excuses in the team. If they say “the economy is bad , nobody is recruiting new reps” you can say “I am”. This is powerful…
Tip 3 Build Brand Build Your Value
Your MLM Downline will only Grow as much as you do. People follow leaders period!! Even great salesman will lose his entire downline to attrition if they do not build their value. Always be a student of this craft, stay on the cutting edge and share you knowledge freely with your team and with the MLM community at large. The more you give, the more you will receive. Sharing cutting edge knowledge in to the broader community in this way will brand you as a leader and attract hoards of new prospects and recruits for your business.
